Stampeders Lose OL Brad Erdos for 2019

Calgary’s offensive line depth is going to be put to the test as they’ve lost their starting right guard for the year.

Spencer Wilson backed up Erdos at times last season but he was a free agent addition for the Montreal Alouettes. 23-year old Ryan Sceviour backed up at left guard last year after being drafted in the first round so he could be an option.

Calgary also drafted two offensive linemen in this year’s draft but either way Erdos’ replacement could come with little experience. Erdos started every game, including the Grey Cup, at right guard for the Stampeders last season. He signed a two year contract extension in January.

How will this loss affect the team that gave up a league-low 27 sacks in 2018?
