My weekend was successfully ruined…How about yours?

With week 1 officially in the books, we can now look back at our line ups and say to ourselves “what the hell was I thinking?”  I know not every one will have to do that but for the majority of people that play fantasy football it is a common question after the week wraps up.  Zach Collaros was placed on the 6 game after he left Thursday night’s game on the 4th play, Antonio Pipkin, who wasn’t overly effective, left the game against Edmonton on Friday night, and of course Trevor Harris threw for over 400 yards and Kenny Stafford was his leading receiver because we all saw that coming.

Trevor Harris was the leading QB this week with 37.1 pts, which was a good thing for his offensive teammates who finished 1st to 3rd in points for the week.  Dominique Davis was a pleasant surprise in week 1 (not for my bank account) as his RedBlacks beat Calgary on Saturday night.  Ottawa became the first team since 2014 to beat Calgary at home before labour day.  Mike Reilly only accumulated 13pts against the Bombers but Burnham was able to score 20.3pts for his fantasy owners.  Travis and I didn’t have the best week in Fantasy but I still beat him by over 10 points.  So I got that going for me, which is nice.
