THE KING HAS BEEN DETHRONED!!! Andrew from the Eskimo Empire Podcast was running away with the CFPN Fantasy Challenge until he ran into the buzzsaw that was my team last week. Granted, I had 6 of my 7 spots filled out with Eskimos so for him, the loss didn’t feel as bad because the Esks won, but I made sure that the rest of us were able to keep pace and get back to .500
This week, the thought did cross my mind to load up on Alouettes as they are the lucky dogs this week matched up against the Argonauts, but with the Riders being back off bye, it was hard to not take Cody Fajardo against Ottawa who did not look all that great against Hamilton except for a few mistakes by Dane Evans.
Dominique Davis does have the highest pts v. opponent this week, albeit a small sample size of 1 game but the 30.5pts he put up against Saskatchewan earlier in the year is starting to look more and more like an outlier. James Wilder Jr. leads the way for running backs but who knows what his actual role will be against the Als this week. Andrew Harris and William Powell are the next two starters in the top 5, along with CJ Gable, all viable options. As for WR, Lucky Whitehead leads the way with his 34.3pts against the Eskimos earlier in the year. Derel Walker and Kyran Moore round out the top 3 this week for WR. These numbers aren’t gospel and more than often, they lie, so good luck this week and hopefully, fantasy football doesn’t ruin your weekend
